The Opportunity
LakePoint Baseball was built to be more than a tournament venue—it was designed to become a national home for elite amateur baseball. The goal was to create a championship-caliber environment that could support the highest levels of competition while delivering a premium experience for players, families, coaches, and recruiters.
From its earliest days, LakePoint needed to operate not just as a complex, but as a destination—one capable of hosting the country’s most prestigious events and attracting teams from across the nation.
The Approach
Capacity Sports Group positioned LakePoint as a flagship baseball venue by pairing elite facilities with best-in-class performance technology and unmatched digital coverage.
Each field was outfitted with TrackMan technology and a seven-camera live-stream video system, delivering comprehensive game coverage, advanced analytics, and enhanced scouting exposure. This infrastructure created a professional-grade environment where every pitch, swing, and play could be seen, measured, and evaluated.
Programming was anchored by Prep Baseball’s National Championships and the Future Games—two of the most respected amateur baseball events in the country—while maintaining a year-round calendar of elite youth, high school, collegiate, and national tournaments
Why it works
LakePoint succeeds because it combines championship-level facilities, national-caliber programming, and professional-grade technology under one unified destination—creating an experience that teams travel across the country to be part of.
